Postal Office


Postal Office in Via Marmorata close to Piramide Cestia (I'll show U next days). One of the 6700 postal Office in all Italy . It has been the set of the queues of the last days. It was built in 1933-34 and desighed in collaboration with Arch. M. De Renzi. It is considered a rationalism model in Rome.

L'ufficio postale di Via Marmorata vicino la Piramide Cestia (ve la mostrerò nei prossimi giorni) . E' uno dei 6700 uffici postali d'Italia. E' stato luogo delle lunghissime code dei giorni scorsi . Fu costruito nel 1933-34 e disegnato in collaborazione con l'Arch. M. De Renzi. E' considerato un modello del razionalismo in Roma.

The fish-eye wide-angle of this post-office shot is sweet but I really like the Autogrill Café one a lot.

You have very nice photos throughout your blog - nice work!
The post office very much reminds me of the Bauhaus movement in Germany of that time period only with a little more flair.
