Molte persone a Roma chiedono l'elemosina in molti modi e luoghi. Dai semafori alla stazione ad ogni piazza della città. E' davvero difficile sbarcare il lunario per questa gente.

Portaportese Market

It can be very amusing to have a walk and do some shopping in the most famouse and ancient Roman Market: Portaportese. It is situated on Via Portuense (along the street) which is closed for the cars on Sunday morning . You can find there everithing you want used or new and it is very extraordinary experience walking there throu curious people looking for their special thing to buy. Just a recomandation: take care of your wallet and stay away if you see a group of people palying the game of the three cards!!

Si trova in Via Portuense ( ne occupa la strada) che per l'occasione viene chiusa la domenica mattina. Ci puoi trovare qualsiasi cosa tu desideri sia usata che nuova ed è una esperienza straordinaria camminare lì tra gente curiosa intenta a cercare e comprare il loro oggetto speciale. Fountain of the Rivers by Bernini

Here a suggestive image of Fountain of the Rivers by Bernini that supports the Egyptian Obelisk originally placed in the circus of Massenzio; on the flanges of the reef are dressed the personifications of the four rivers realised by the collaborators of the maestro Bernini:the Danube of Raggi, the Ganges of Poussin, the Rio della Plata of Baratta and the Nile by Fancelli.

You can't leave Rome without a shot with ancient Romans. There are many of them well dressed in all turistic spot like Fontana di Trevi , Colosseo and trinità dei monti. They are all authorized by Roman municipality and very very genials.

Non puoi lasciare Roma senza uno scatto con un antico Romano. Ce ne sono molti , ben vestiti in tutti i punti più turistici come Fontana di Trevi, Colosseo e Trinità dei Monti. Sono tutti autorizzati dal comune e molto molto simpatici.

Royal gulls in Rome

Two Royal Gulls fighting for a little peace of food in Trevi fountaine in the heart center of the City. In Rome you can see thousands of gulls flying across the sky. It is because of the Tevere river and so if U live in the center U can year their sound in the early morning and it is really uniqe because U're not in a sea town ...u're in Rome! Gulls could be carriers of chicken virus ...

Due Gabbiani Reali combattono per un piccolo pezzo di cibo nella Fontana di Trevi nel cuore della città. In Roma è possibile vedere migliaia di gabbiani volare nel cielo. Ciò è dovuto alla presenza del Tevere e quindi se dovessi vivere in centro è veramente unico sentire il loro suono la mattina presto . Sembra di essere in una città di mare ed invece sei a Roma. I gabbiani potrebbero essere portatori del virus dell'aviaria...

Aviaria virus fobia

Everyone here in town is afraid about pandemic risk. Everyone is afraid about chicken virus and so noone buy chicken in the supermarket . Noone about me !. I think that now it's really safe to eat chicken because of the thousand of controls that Companies are obliged to do. So please do not destroy economy! eat italian chicken ! it is safe! (even if ...40% discount ...now it's no bad!)

Tutti in Città sono preoccupati per il rischio pandemia. Tutti sono preoccupati del virus dei polli e così nessuno compra pollo nei supermarket. Nessuno tranne me !. Io penso che ora il pollo sia veramente sicuro a causa dei migliaia di controlli a cui le aziende sono obbligate. Quindi per favore non distruggete l'economia! mangiate il pollo italiano ! è sicuro ! ( anche se... col 40% di sconto ... ora non è poi così male!)

Postal Office

Postal Office in Via Marmorata close to Piramide Cestia (I'll show U next days). One of the 6700 postal Office in all Italy . It has been the set of the queues of the last days. It was built in 1933-34 and desighed in collaboration with Arch. M. De Renzi. It is considered a rationalism model in Rome.

L'ufficio postale di Via Marmorata vicino la Piramide Cestia (ve la mostrerò nei prossimi giorni) . E' uno dei 6700 uffici postali d'Italia. E' stato luogo delle lunghissime code dei giorni scorsi . Fu costruito nel 1933-34 e disegnato in collaborazione con l'Arch. M. De Renzi. E' considerato un modello del razionalismo in Roma.

La manutenzione di una fontana di Roma è essenziale per un chiaro riflesso durante una bella giornata di sole. Per pulire il fondo di una fontana così grande bisogna tirar via tutta l'acqua!

Queue of the hope

It's two days that around two million extracommunitarian people in all Italy are making queue outside postal offices for presenting the admission module for regular working in Italy. Two million people for only 170.000 permissions to stay and regular working . More of them have spent all the night outside a Postal Office . Too much request and so, many people have paied till one hundred euro to obtain the last kit module.

E' da due giorni che circa due milioni di extracomunitari sparsi in tutta Italia sono in fila fuori gli uffici postali per presentare il modulo di ammissione al lavoro regolare in Italia. Due milioni di persone per soli 170.000 permessi di soggiorno per un lavoro regolare. La maggior parte ha trascorso la notte fuori un ufficio postale . Troppe richieste e così, molte persone hanno pagato fino a cento euro per ottenere l'ultimo modello di iscrizione.

Ambassade de France en Italie

A particular of  the front facade of  Palazzo Farnese ,France Embassy in Italy, close to Campo dei Fiori. U can see the inside with stuccoed ceiling designed by Sangallo. This is one of  the most beautiful palace of Rome, an extreme masterpiece of Renaissance, a work of A.da Sangallo the Younger(the front and side facades), Michelangelo (cornice, balcony, loggia and the greater part of courtyard)and G.della Porta (back facade with a big loggia facing Via Giulia).

Un particolare della facciata frontale di Palazzo Farnese , sede dell'ambasciata Francese in Italia , vicino Campo dei Fiori. Potete vedere un particolare del salone con i soffitti dipinti. Questo è uno dei più bei palazzi di Roma, un vero capolavoro dell'epoca rinascimentale, un lavoro di Antonio Sangallo il Giovane (le facciate frontali e laterali), Michelangelo ( I cornicioni, le balconate, la loggia e gran parte del cortile) e G. della Porta ( la facciata posteriore con una grande loggia che affaccia su Via Giulia).

Vittoriano in the day

This is a new image of "Il Vittoriano" or Altare della Patria (Altar of the Nation) but in the morning this time. It’s located between Piazza Venezia and the Capitoline Hill. It was designed and built by Giuseppe Sacconi between 1895 and 1911 to honour Victor Emmanuel, the first king of unified Italy. It is built of pure white marble and features majestic stairways, tall corinthian columns, fountains, a huge equestrian statue of Victor Emmanuel and two statues of goddess Victoria riding on quadrigas. Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with an eternal flame, built under the statue of Italy after World War I. This monument is controversial because too big for thearea but I like it .

Questa è un immagine del "Vittoriano" o Altare della Patria . E' un monumento che si trova tra Piazza Venezia e il colle capitolino. Fu progettato e costruito da Giuseppe Sacconi tra il 1895 e il 1911 in onore di Vittorio Emanuele, primo re d'Italia.
